Got a little cut on the back of the hand. It was long enough to not be covered with a band aid. Remembering what several members said about the medical advantage of closing a wound with CA glue; I went for some medium CA and spread it on. Stopped the bleeding. The Ca allows for visual of the wound.

Be careful. Surgical CA is different then the kind that we use. Don't use too much because it can damage tissue and interfere with healing.

Thank you Cindy. I will use caution. The one coat seem to do the job and this morning it is still on with part of the middle portion gone and the wound seemed to be patched together. Now to just keep it from opening up while seventeen cigar antler tops need to be cut. Now may be the time for a band aid to keep the wound clean and from separating.

Ripped a nail 85% off and it was just dangling. I CA'ed it back on then put a coat of CA across the entire nail and it held for a few weeks before it fell off. By then the new nail was already mostly in place.
