Byrnes Table Saw

Has anyone used the Byrnes saw? Is it worth the $100 more than the Proxxon or Micro-mark. Seems to me it is, but first hand info would be helpful. At the rate I have been selling pens and flyrod reel seats, the payback will be about 72 years. Seems like a good investment.:biggrin:

I can't comment on the Byrnes saw (there are plenty of threads out there to read, including the link from the previous post), but I have the Proxxon saw (I got it as a gift a couple of years ago) and have found it somewhat lacking. Since you seem to be heading in the Byrnes direction anyway, consider this an extra nudge...

I picked one up a couple months ago and love it, it is well worth the price and has had no problem cutting anything I put through it. Still haven't installed the tilt table yet, but will sooner or later.
