Made from my favorite cutting board after it fell and split while washing up after dinner earlier this week. It is finished with tung oil and bees wax, and will be used with one of my new carbide tools. I have enough of the block left to make another tool handle or maybe a pepper mill. Have to see.

The board is just over 1 inch thick. I cut the block and laminated it together. I could add a 1 inch or 1/2 inch piece of oak, pecan, or something else from the scrap pile to build to 2.5 or 3 inches thickness. Giving me a 3 inch by 13 inch blank.

For the tool handle I just used a 2x2x12 blank.
