I had a busy weekend filled with a lot of firsts in my pen making world. I placed my first order last week with Exotic blanks and got some great acrylic blanks to work with. I also picked up a jacobs chuck and did my first pen drilling on the lathe, I'll say this I am NOT going back to my drill press, I felt I had so much more control, especially on the smaller round blanks. These are also the first pens I turned with my new carbide tools. C & C welcome on all of them!

A gold sierra with Alabaster Swirl blank from EB
Cigar pen with Caribbean Waters blank from EB
This one is blanked out because it's for one of the contests
Euro Pen with Cranberry Fruitcake blank from EB
Euro Pen with Purple Green Pearl blank from EB (the camera really doesn't capture this blank well it's gorgeous almost black with purple and green peaking out through it.)
