Bushing Storage

Several days ago some one ask how do we store our bushings. After several methods, I have settled on this way. These are medical prescription bottles that I have put labels for each bushing.

Been doing the same thing without the rack, so of course there are pill bottles all over my shop. Thanks for the inspiration

Ben, this a great idea! I have a kidney transplant so there's no shortage of pill bottles at my house! Thanks for sharing this plan. :good:

I may have to consider that as well ....

I have been using a small plastic container that I bought at Big Lots for $2 .... its awkwarder than I would like, but then again, I am just getting started.

Next on my agenda is a better way to keep track of my growing stash of drill bits !!!
 
My buddy bought me a box of 2 inch round aluminum containers with clear windows you can see through in the top. I'll ask him where he got them and post them to this thread in case IAP members don't have a sizable pile of pill bottles lying around. I sure don't!

BTW, these work really well for me. I write the size and pen type on the outside and I can look inside before I open them up.

I bought the 115 bit set from HF, so the bulk of my bits live in one of these:

For those who didn't buy the big old set o' bits, a similar index box can be bought from McMaster Carr, which is where I bought the index box for my metric drill bits.

Michaels, Hobby Lobby. The local HF had them a while back.
