Bushing Storage

I am thinking of using Altoid tins to store my bushings. I have an altoid tin rack designed that I lasercut out of 1/8" plywood it holds 40 tins.
altoid tins have a depth of .750" are their any pen Bushings that are to large in diameter to fit in a closed altoid tin?

I googled a few of the biggest kits I could think of (Churchill, Emperor, etc.) and checked bushing dimensions. Didn't find any larger than 0.650", so I'm guessing if it's only pen bushings you want to store, altoid tins will do the job.

What are you guys using to store bushings? I am thinking about asking the pharmacist to sell me some pill bottles.

This is my take on bushing storage:

1. Bought small parts storage cases from Harbor Freight. They have removeable bins which is handy!
2. I engraved an identifying letter on each bushing set (on the narrow bushing extension that fits inside the tube - I didn't want to accidentally sand off my engravings) Started with A ... Z. Am now going AA .... AZ.
3. Labeled each bin with letters corresponding to the bushing set engravings
4. Created a spreadsheet and entered all the bushing information into a worksheet - identifying letter/description/part number. Printed it out and taped that to the top of my storage case for quick reference

It is easy to find the bushings for the next project. And, if I leave some of them out on my workbench, it is really simple to get them back into the proper place.

I use these small jars that I get from Cracker Barrel with their Blueberry syrup. They fit perfectly in a K-Cup coffee pod holder. 30 sets of bushings, and since they have a small footprint, I can store 60 different sets of bushings in an 18" by 12" area.

I use daily pill minders, bushing type marked on the lids. Best part about it is only one set open at a time so if the container happens to spill no big deal.
