I've had a piece of unknown burl roughly 1.5 by 5.5 by 3/8 inches thick for a while now. I ripped it lengthwise and turned a Slimline pen, however I have no idea what kind of burl it is. Any thoughts? I was thinking perhaps Nargusta burl, however, I really have no idea. The pen is finished with Pens Plus. Matching pencil planned for the other piece. Many thanks for your help.
