Most of the pens I make are acrylic and they usually have some sort of pattern. However it is nice to occasionally make a pen from a plain colour as it really is a test of my finishing - there is no place to hide on a plain pen. Any unintended "features" really will stand out like a sore thumb.

This is a burgundy acrylic with bronze rings and rose-gold plated clip & nib. It's quite a grown up looking pen compared to what I usually offer.

The threads are 13mm triple lead. It takes one and a half rotations to remove the cap which registers on the step on the barrel.

Cheers
Ash

Beautiful pen. Excellent craftsmanship as usual. If you don't mind me asking, where did you you get the clip and nib. I have been looking for rose colored clips and nibs. I have bronze accent rings, and would like the matching clip and nib to complete the pen I have in mind.
