I made a bunk bed for my boys yesterday - partly as a present for my oldest. He turns 6 this month!

The bottom bunk has been around for a while. I just built up and around it. The drawers were still in the other room at this point. They're in there now and look pretty good.

Holden helped quite a bit by standing on boards to hold them still while I screwed. I had a lot of fun making it with him. He enjoyed the chop saw the most. He sat in the back of the van with the door open and watched. It's pretty sturdy even without bolts - but I need to get some bolts before it starts working it's way to a big wobbly mess.

Nice work. My guess is that in few years Corbin will not appreciate the old man putting pictures on the internet of him in his underoos. Priceless!

Nice job, it doesn't look like you could have done it without your helpers. Its a great father/son's project, I'm sure you all will remember.
