Bullpen Bench with Dirt Inlay

Here's what I came up with using the a piece of the Astros bullpen bench. I also picked up some dirt from Tal's Hill (it was a big mound in centerfield that they removed in 2015 or 2016).

I ended up getting some glue on some parts of it when I was putting it together. Any recommendations on getting it off without ruining the finish?

I hate to be "that guy", but I see your nib end is under-turned by alot. Is it possible that the front tube components were pressed in backwards? I like the idea of the dirt incorporated. Nice pen.

I appreciate you being that guy and pointing it out. I looked back at the instructions comparing how I did it and you are correct. Another rookie mistake!

Live and learn that's the whole point of this forum to assist others and suggest alternatives/ improvements/ reasons for things.

As long as it gives you pleasure then that's a good result.
