Bullet Pens

I have been playing a but with the Bullet Pen kit from Pen State. Trying to figure out a way to add a pocket clip.

What kind of wood are the last two?

The last one is a cross section of a black walnut knothole. I am not positive of the middle one, but it seems to be quarter sawn walnut maybe?
