Buffing Wheels

I have the Beal buffing wheels that are very dirty- what is the best way to clean them?

Look for a tool called a rake. Be careful when you touch it to the wheels, have very good grip. Cleans them up in seconds. Search for buffing wheel rake.

Be sure to use the rake below center, so it won't catch, if you reverse turn the spindle rake on top of buffing wheels as it won't catch in the revere direction.

Safety is a must

And be sure to store the rake where you won't accidentally grab it. You'll only do it once. Trust me.

i use a rake, a giant eraser thing, and a piece of raw wood.
