Anyone know where i could get a buffing adaptor or arbor similar to the one on this site. I want to get one 8" long with an m33x3.5 thread. index

Do you have a collet chuck or a drill chuck that fits in the headstock? If you do, use either one, get a bolt that will fit the chuck and cut the head off. Put the buffing wheel on the threaded end, 1 nut and washer first, then the wheel and then another washer and nut. With a drill chuck you either need a draw bar or you have to use your tailstock to keep the chuck in the headstock

I don't have a collet chuck yet. It's something I hope to get soon. I was hoping to get one of these for buffing other items other than pens. At the moment I am using a No. 2 morse taper pigtail arbor with a 60 degree hole in the end for tailstock support. To use it on larger items I have to let the quill on the tailstock out a lot.
