Helped a young man make a railroad spike knife at the AZ Knife Collectors Assoc. show this week end. I guess this fits as other things we make.......

I would tap with my hammer to show him where to hit and he did very well the last pic is the happy camper and his knife.

Great job teaching and on the finished project. Whenever we can teach a youngster a craft, it is time well spent. I'm sure he'll cherish the time you spent teaching and the knife, for a long time.

Very cool. Time well spent. Nothing better than being able to pass on knowledge to young ones. That with any luck will one day do the same. That and i really like the knife also.

Bill... I agree with some of the above comments, that young student will remember that day and project for a long, long time!

As we drop small pebbles in the stream... Eventually we can alter the path of the river!
