The owner had commissioned the piece such that he wanted an easy way to discern between the pen and pencil. We settled on the gold pencil and gunmetal pen as his preferred choice.

As for the blank, RockyB does a great job in providing exquisite pieces and the cactus juice makes it a dream to work with.

Thinking on it further, there is a finer point to make.

I can only find the Cigar Pencil in gold and chrome, that is it. It sucks that there is not a gunmetal or copper option. There may have been in the past, but not currently.
