I just came back from the Antelope Valley Woodturners Association meeting in Palmdale. I scored this huge, heavy chunk of buck eye burl. I've started cutting one small piece into roughly 1" slabs.

I cut two slabs into blanks as shown in the last photo. If you have used buckeye burl you know that there are VOIDS.

Anyone interested in either blanks or a slab(s) cut to fit flat rate boxes?

I would love some of the live edge for hybrid blanks, or maybe a couple slabs with the live edge, so I can cut regular and hybrid blanks. Please PM me with instructions how to pay.

Thanks!

I am shipping three large flat rate boxes today. If you want me to cut some more it will run $18.95 for PirateShip shipping and $15.

I lived in the Antelope Valley (Palmdale/Quartz Hill and Lancaster) for many years until just 14 months ago when I moved to Texas. I started messing around with pens about 2 years ago and never knew there was an Antelope Valley Woodturners Association. Dang missed out...
