G'day!
Sam from Steve's Woodcraft cast this amazing piece of drippy swirly Jeep fordite for me in red resin to fill the voids and make it a usable blank. A sharp skew, some 180 grit sandpaper and alot of patience is needed to turn this stuff. It doesn't like heat, do I took regular breaks. Finished with 6 coats of thin CA to protect it
Paired with a black titanium majestic fountain pen with upgraded #6 brushed steel jowo nib.
Thanks for looking!!

absolutely spectacular!! On a whim, because of the heavy wind here last nite I picked up some broken cedar branches from my lawn. I've always been fascinated by spalted wood. One of them seemed to be just before the 'point of no return' so I chucked it into the lathe and did some gentle cutting. Definitely has possibilities!

I love that! Love the red/grey color... Looks like Ohio State Buckeye colors.
