A nice piece of Brown Mallee Burl I put on a Stainless Steel Liberty Kit. CA finish.

The white sapwood looked like a snake zigzagging along the blank, but the more I turned it down, the pattern started to break up. Still happy with it though.

Ripper mate from almost day 1 I have loved Brown Mallee Burl,it is stable, reliable with rich diversity,au contraire my friend as you turned it down it really revealed itself. The mix of sapwood is perfect and very hard to find.

Thats two special pens today to remember from down under with impact.

Kind regards Peter.

Thanks Gary.
I like the Liberty's, when I sell them I always charge a bit more than the plated twist pens, as you can talk them up a bit because they are stainless steel and well made.
I bought a big box full of them when our dollar was good against the US$, I have about 10 left now, not sure that I will get anymore because of the cost and difficulty of getting them.
