Broad Tip Rollerball Refills

I'm looking for broad tip Schmidt 888 style rollerball refills in black and blue colors. maybe a couple of red. Anyone know of a source?

I may be wrong, but I was under the impression that they do not make a broad refill in the 888 style. I always assumed it was due to the fact that the 888 Medium is similar in line width to other Broad refills ( i.e. Parker Bros>)

I could never find a broad tip in 888 or 5888. A friend said that the PR rep told him that they were not available.

Now, for the good news! You can get any sized tip you want in the form of Pilot G2..... AND at 1/4th the price.

I looked at various suppliers and couldn't find the 888 in a broad so I thought I may be missing something.

I forget....
Is the G2 a direct size replacement for the 888?
