A few brass sections I'm working on this Friday.
The left two will be for a cap that screws into the section. OD on the left section is 11.5 mm JoWo #5 nib

Am I correctly assuming you're starting with round brass bar stock, drilling/threading, shaping, and then doing some kind of hammering to texture it? Or does the shaping and hammering come before the drilling and threading? These look very unique and very cool.

Correct, the hammered finish is the second to last step. I cut the cap threads after I finish hammering. I might make a protective cape so I can do all the threads at the same time.

This is the only shaping tool I use on my pens and parts.
It is a radius carbide cutter with an 11" over bar and handle.

I am considering getting a tenon cutter from TW.
For now this tool works great.
