Very nice pen. Where did you find brass 410 shells? I have a few aluminum 410's from Air Force survival gun. Would a 45-70 work in lieu of 410?

You can get 36 gauge (.410) brass here:

A 45-70 would be too large in diameter with the OD casing neck at .480" and the casing base OD at .505".
