Don't you hate it when your idea looks great in your head, so you draw it out. It looks great on paper too. So you make it. Several hours of work later...

Looks like crap.

Sigh.

Just had to vent.

But you learned somethings and need to keep working on it --- that is how design processes work in humans --

It was not a bad idea -- just one that did not work out.
 
I just laugh it off singing a couple verses of "If I only had a brain" from the Wizard of Oz....

Then grab another blank and start again.....

Just think what Edison went through when he was working on the light bulb. Consider yourself in good company. :smile:
 
I beleive that Edison said it best when he said "I have not failed. I've just found 10000 ways that won't work." Hang in there and why not show the "failed" results to the folks here on IAP. You never know, someone may have an idea that will help you out.
