Here is a lided box I made out of a piece of Bradford Pear. It is nice wood to turn and I just love doing these little boxes. This piece has some very interesting grain in it.

Pretty little bob Keith, I have a bunch of Bradford pear that's dry and should have been turned a long time ago, it is a nice wood to turn, not real hard but a nice tight grain.

Good looking box. Bradford Pear is my favorite local wood for turning. It holds details very well.

I have just turned some pear and I really like it's grain and the ease with which it turns.
Kieth just bring that on up here next week I will see to it that it gets some good use.........great job. your lidded boxes are getting better and better..........
