Wow. I'm impressed with the M14 threading! Does the cap or body have any plastic lining or were they tapped directly into the wood too?
Threading was done into the wood but the wood was stabilized. My first try at threading stabilized wood. Worked well except for the section threads. Used the last of the leftover wood to make and fail on three section tries. They kept breaking while drilling/threading for the nib unit. When making these pens from non stabilized wood I use sleeves made from resin for threading.
