Boxelder Burl Havana

Here is my latest. Stablized Boxelder Burl in gold Havana rollerball. Had a out-of-round mistake (not shown). Will have to be more careful in the future. This also was my 2nd choice in blanks. I didn't pay attention on the 1st and drilled the wrong blank with the wrong bit!![xx(]. May try a complimentary wood like blackwood on the long blank. The short blank boxelder burl has a lot of black to it. Comments?? Kirk[8D]

Andrew, Under the blue cloth is a short piece of 1x4. Drilled a 45 degree hole and placed a short piece of coathanger in the hole. Took out the ink cartridge, poked a hole in the cloth and placed the pen over the piece of coat hanger. Worked out better than I thought. I think I also perfected the pix. Taken with Nikon D80. Slight manipulation with iPhoto and pix shrunk in Adobe Elements to make the 100 kb limit on pictures. Kirk[8D]
