Box Elder

[Gary Max]

Made this today----Box Elder---stands about 14 inchs tall and 7 inchs at the widest point.
She just has some oil on her right now.
I plan on making about 20 box elder pieces in the next couple of weeks.

That is some beautiful work, Gary! I've not attempted hollow forms as yet, so the bowl blank I got from you will be a simple bowl. I hope it shows the beauty of the wood half as well as yours.
