Bowls and a Finial Box

Here are a few recent creations. A Walnut Bowl "Snoopy Bowl". An American Sweet Gum Bowl. A Finial Box made from Cherry, White Oak and Cocobolo. I think I need a camera with manual focus and a lens with a smaller F-stop. Almost impossible to get the whole bowl in focus with Autofocus and f-8

Wow those are beautiful. I really like the American Sweet Gum Bowl. What size are the bowls?

The Sweet Gum bowl is 7", Walnut bowl is 6" and the finial box is 5"

Some beautiful turnings there and the photography is also very nice.

I find pens are easy to photograph but bigger things are more of a challenge.

All are beautiful, but my favorite has to be the walnut due to the amazing grain and heartwood/sapwood combo. I am a huge fan of two tone projects.
