One of my latest purchases from Bethlehemeolivewood.com is a double BOW pen box. It's gorgeous. I also have two singles from them.

For those of you who have bought these (if anyone has) how would you recommend finishing them? I'd hate to leave them bare and become dull and smudged. I'm thinking Beall Buff and Wax maybe?

Thanks for any suggestions

I haven't purchased any but the first thing that came to my mind is a spray can of deft lacquer. Has a very nice finish, goes on smooth with very little if any sanding between coats.

mine came pre finished with lacquer (They verified it was). Not too well done though. There were bare spots. I sanded it down and oiled it. I think maybe the lacquer dosen't adhere well to the oily wood.

Not idea why mine wasn't finished. I've ordered 3 all on separate occasions and they were bare. I don't mide that but it's odd that some do and some don't and there's no indication of either on the website.
