bottle stoppers

I've started making a few bottle stoppers for Christmas gifts. They are Western/Texas themed but no Yankees were harmed during the turning of these stoppers, but I think my eyes have been burned-sorry about the exposure on the 2nd one!

Thanks-tornum lignum (Ruth Niles stoppers), some conchos and laminate. I just started turning them and I've found one way to get better, is to turn a bunch of them!

That is a great idea with those conchos, I see myself digging in my leather work supplies sometimes pretty soon.
