Either ebay or more preferrably, from members here. I've got some Bolvian Rosewood I'd be willing to sell but I think it is only 1.5x1.5.

I also buy at wood shows, Rockler, and Woodcraft when I have a coupon or they are on sale. Usually buy long turning stock and cut to the desired length.

Dale has some great wood, as DocStram recently attested to in his thank-you posting...

Another of my all-time favourite bottle stopper blank suppliers is Chris (Kalai)...received GREAT wood from both of these suppliers - you won't be dissapointed!!

Any place that sells hardwood. Just buy some 8/4 stock and cut your own...a 8/4 x 6 inch x 3ft plank would be 6 bf and would be enough for appox 50 plus bottle stopper blanks....jw

Where do you guys/gals get your natural wood stopper blanks? I'm looking mainly for domestics in the range of 2"x2" or larger.
