Boston Craftworks' Theme Pens

A recent thread got me wondering again about these pens. Has anyone turned any of Boston Craftworks' theme pens? If so, what did you think of them? I tried searching, but found nothing at all.

I looked at them, but honestly I don't think they look very nice. Even taking away the bulbous effect the turner gave them in the pictured pens, the caps just look....cheap to me.

I keep with the Zen and Stretch.

I bought 2 of each last year. The are OK pens, chrome finish. Very similar to the Zens but with a snap cap. Sold a coupla of them but still have most left.
The bushings are made of soft aluminum so be very careful when turning and sanding.

Augum's sell a similar kind of pen. I have done one, the caps are lightweight and not of the best quality in comparison to other kinds of pens.

Axminster UK sell the same pen but without the theme sticker ( or whatever it is ) but they are only £6 for 2. ( just less than $9 for two) I actually like them and they are great as 'give-away' pens.

So much for that one. I thought they were a bit much for the apparent quality, but Augum's prices are WOW! I just can't see paying $8 to $10 for what appears to be a slimline quality kit. Thanks guys.
