Borrowed the Debit Card Segment idea

Instead of using a debt card I used the room key from a hotel. I copied the look of the debt card key- I used a apprentice jr. gentleman pen-bloodwood with a maple stripe and the room key segments.

I use various cards for accent pieces..hotel key cards and expired credit cards mostly. My favorite one I get like this: "Honey, may I borrow your credit card?":biggrin::biggrin:

They do make really nice accent pieces as has been shown in this thread and another one lately.

The Pen came out great looking. I probably would have done away with maple strip though. Takes away abit from the design instead of adding to it. Just an opinion. Thanks for showing.

Thanks for the comments- I don't think I'll have any trouble selling this one-I'm getting a lot of Wow's from my friends that have seen it. The maple does look better in person and was needed to thicken the blank for the kit I was using- maybe I'll try another one without that stripe.
