I don't know about cows, but I know about horses. As a prank one halloween some kids took a big work horse and walked it up to the third floor of our high school building in Colorado. It would NOT walk back down, and since there was no elevator, they had to build moveable wooden ramps to cover the stairs to get it down.

Then, (that same year, actually) my pony slipped his bridle and followed me up five wooden steps and through an electric eye door into the back door of a supermarket. No way he would go back down so we had to take him through the store and out the front door. As we left, there was a cop sitting in his car eating his lunch. He looked at us.....looked at the sign on the door that said 'NO DOGS ALLOWED' and before he could make up his mind what to do we booked out of there at high speed.

I am running a report that normally takes about 10 minutes, I have been working (waiting) on it to compile over 1 and a half hours.

Oak trees can actually start producing acorns at around 20 years. We had a 30 year-old oak that was really good at dropping acorns on the roof.

I don't know how old it is, but there's an oak tree that shades my shop... when the acorns start to fall it sounds like hail on the roof... the tree is at least 3' diameter maybe more at the base and towers over my metal roofed shop.
