I'm not sure what else to call it. I copied the idea from another "crafty" website and modified it to fit what I liked. I made it for a friend's daughter who is an avid reader and only really likes hardback books. She is also very fussy about not damaging the books while she reads.

This was made using a Cocobolo cut-off from another project I'm working on. I finished it with the Beall polishing system.

What does a person do with the item while not reading? Say you're on the beach reading and decide to go for a swim...is it thin enough to use as a page marker also, or just set it to the side?

Nifty idea!

Thank you. In a scenario like you mentioned, you'd have to just set it to the side. It's way too thick to be used as a page marker.
