I found the bones of this pen in a bag of pens I had bought for parts, and thought some of you out there would find it interesting !! It was cast to represent a minature Femur, the largest bone in our bodys. The casting needed some diamond file work to smooth it out, as well as a complete sanding to bring back the color. Seems to be made of some type of dense PR. Front cone is one piece drilled and threaded with a silver ring to keep threads from tightening up. Seems I have a slight curvature of the ink filler tube !! Anyway, a little restoration, and I have a bone shattering pen. Pun intended. Jim S

My dog would like it! :dog: Bone a long time since she had a new one to play with.
What colour is the ink? Marrow?

Curly; I'm declaring its heartland to be of English descent by DNA, ( Don't No Anyway), so the ink is either Royal Blue or Blue Blood. I tried to find a red refill for the pen, but it takes a little longer refill than nornal. Imagine that, it's not a norman pen !!! Jim S

Thank you all for the boning remarks and the skulduggery that went with them. I will bone up on my puns for the future, and see if I can post another humerus pen for all to enjoy. You are all a great bunch of people out there and I enjoyed tickling you funny bone a little. :bananen_smilies027: Jim S
