Does anyone use bonanza marketplace? Have you heard about it? Its supposed to be less saturated lets say than ebay and its fees are lower. Ebay fees are ridiculous; for a 200$ sale through a promotional listing i ended up paying 85$ in fees.!!

I was on Bonanza for several years when it was still a strictly artisan site. Now like others it has become a cheap knockoff commercial site with only a few real crafts people in my opinion.
Do you think its not a good place to sell stuff like pen blanks etc.? I think all marketplaces today are a bit like what you described. Also over saturated ( to put it nicely) pushing the casual seller to use some ad service that actually takes away all the profit. However i have loads of stuff i must get rid of and i feel that ebay is a ripoff

I used to be on Bonanza selling some woodworking items and also sports card protector supplies. Very few sales in 4-5 years. I closed shop 3-4 years ago.
Did you connect your booth to other social media platforms? I guess that its the only way to stand out in marketplaces nowadays

It's probably changed but from what I remember Bonanza listings were either free or very cheap at that time. I had some of the same items on Ebay so I basically cut/pasted my descriptions into Bonanza so it didn't take a lot of time to create the Bonanza listings.

If you have the descriptions already created on a different selling platform, it might be worth giving it a try with 10-12 listings and see what happens.
