It really depends on your market/clientele. Some people won't bat an eye at $75 for a pen, while others scoff at $25. You don't want it to look like you are just selling them cheap, no matter what. That being said, I usually price them in the upper $40 range. The kits are not cheap and they do have a cool factor, but they aren't labor intensive.
 
Thanks for the info i have been selling for $45 but i have a chance after labor day to put some in a high end store in a tourist town
 
Our bolts are $50-$65 depending on the rarity of the wood or how much I have to pay for it. If I use flag or purchased blanks like military they are $65.
