I have completed my first Bolt Action kit.I have adjusted the screw as required.
Have a look at my photo an see if the tip is in the correct way,I mean coming out of the tip the correct measurement or is out too much. DSCF3646[1].jpg

Looks about right to me. Take a pic of the very end of the nib with it retracted. Should be back inside of the nib 1/16th or so..and make sure the refill is properly seated on top...though I've never had an issue with that?

I like to have a maximum of 1/8" refill tip reveal through the nib and find that a majority of both the 30 cal and the Magnum Bolt Action tubes are 1/16" too short.
You will also find that not all the Chinese / Taiwanese refills are exactly the same length nor are they the same length as the original Parker refills.

Do you both mean that the tip should be 1/16 to 1/8 coming out of the tip.

I have measured the protruding tip,its 4.66mm,looks abit too much, any ideas

The length of the blank will impact how far the refill tip extends or not. If you trim the blank too short the tip will extend too far.
