finally got a little time to make a pen I think it came out nice

Very nicely done. The knot is spot on. The use of the metal for accent brings it out. The dyed wood is deep too and that came out as well. I do not like those kits but that is a personal thing. I think you need to post this also in the segmenting forum under the thread "No comments just photos" It needs to be saved. Thanks for showing.

I was gonna give a snarky remark like "... Stinks, just send it to me..."

That is a VERY nice job! I appreciate the work for both the metal and wood sections. Great pen! One you should be proud of!!!
