Here is an interesting video I came across. I think that it's a good reminder that sometimes we just need to take a leap and jump into a project we have been curious about.
Yea I question the use of material so prone to rust, but this can be applied to most any material. I see a lot of deliberating about having the "right" tools, material, drawings, jigs, etc, so I thought this would be good motivation to just get out there and try making somethingVery interesting !!!
ALL pen components made from either (rusted) steel bolt or from brass ....... including the NOOZLE (yes, I've got that right ... I checked ! )
Was particularly interested in the making of the clip and its attachment to the pen body. Also the ball knob for the bolt action mech.
