Bob Jackson's fault

Over a year ago Bob Jackson gave me a pepper mill kit, I finally got around to asking him to teach me how to do it.
So I met him yesterday at his shop, made a big mess and then left with this.
Thanks Bob.
Started with an ash baseball bat blank. JB Shine Juice finish.
I did take it apart today and sand it again, burn in the lines, and refinished it.
I am very happy with the results for my first one. Bob is a great teacher.

Now all I need to do is figure out who gets it for Christmas.
