Hello all.
Pictured is another Cambridge fp I turned over the weekend - on Amboyna & sap with mylands sand sealer and a few coats of renaissance wax.
Also completed a Artists Sketch pen on blue marble galalith rod. (very unpleasant odor when turning this,so much so that I am in no rush to use the remaining)
And pics of 4 of the Cambridge fountain pens I've completed recently together...the first 3 are Amboyna with the 4th malle.

I very much enjoy working with this Amboyna of late..I absolutely love the aroma when turning or drilling on it. Unfortunately I'm down to only a few pieces so I'll have to keep an eye on the forsale bin forum.

Thanks for looking !
Russ

Love the cambridge with the amboyna. That is probably my favorite wood. How do you like the cambridge FP kits? I haven't tried one yet but they are on my list.

You can hardly beat amboyna for a wood pen. It has consistently been one of the favorites in the pretty wood contests. (It's about time for the summer extravaganza and your chance to enter, but only if you haven't posted it before the contest)

I really like them, very good quality on all the parts. The fountain pen nibs are very smooth and have not had to adjust any yet.
I do wish I could find a rollerball conversion that would fit them.
I plan on trying the Emperor kit next, hopefully someone will run a sale on them so I can afford to buy more than 2.
