Here's an octagonal pen I made from a blue/gray striated Beartooth acrylic. It has double start threads so the pattern on the acrylic always lines up. I decided to make a low-profile finial from argentium silver, because sometimes I enjoy doing that rather than make a finial from the same material as the cap. The clip is also argentium silver, which I cut out with a jewelers saw. It uses a jowo #6 nib. It's about 5" long.

Beautiful pen !!!

I like how you have tapered the barrel but not the cap .... that looks great with the straight striations.
