Blue Dragon

Here is a new fountain pen I created with blue and gold talipia leather for a dragon scale look. I rebuilt both pen barrels 3 times until I was satisfied with the result. The first try was using casting but I do not yet have a vaccum chamber setup. The second and third tries were with CA layers - similar to how I do stingray. Let me know what you think.

Thats cool! Tilapia leather? Very interesting. I assume that the leather is dyed or finished that color -- do you do that yourself or buy it that way? Also, I don't see a seam anywhere - is it just not pictured or is it hidden that well?

Thank you. The leather comes that way and is available in a few different colors. The seam is opposite the nib face and clip so you don't see it when writing. Getting a tight clean seam is the main reason I remade this several times.
