I just turned my first Celtic Knot, all things equal the wood work wasn’t too shabby, BUT THEN, I had to go and screw it up, The pen was Brazilian Cherry with a Maple knot, and I thought I would pop the grain a bit so I did a BLO/CA finish, instead of waiting until tomorrow night to put on the CA, I turned the barrels with some pressure from a paper towel got it pretty warm, actually hot then applied several (4) coats of thin CA, followed by 4 coats of med.CA. and got BLUSH to beat the band both barrels right in the middle, wet sanded to 2000, didn’t see the clouds until I buffed it, what a bummer guess what I’m doing tomorrow night, in between 25 key rings
