BLO - where?

Went to Lowes...nope.

HD has a GALLON for $24.00...that should last a lifetime, but I really don't want a gallon of boiled linseed(s).

Anyone know a local type source in smaller quantity?

I have seen it at walmart and lowes. The lowes here has it in the paint area for about $7.

I got a quart size container several years ago at my local hardware store (do-it center). It lasts a long time.

Almost any hardware store should have it in the paint section. I think I got my last can at Wallyworld for $6 ??

Or you can use

Linspeed (often at gun shops as a stock finish)
TrueOil (Woodcraft or at sporting goods sections of walmart, fred meyers, etc)
Tried and True Oil Finish (woodcraft or some specialty paint stores)

Got a bunch of that since I use it to finish my turkey calls...I buy it in the 8oz bottles I use so much.

Looks like you have your answer, but I got a quart of BLO at Lowes 2 days ago. It was with the mineral spirits and thinners as opposed to being with the oil finishes, at least in the Lowes by me.
