BLO vs. cellulose sanding sealer

I accidentally used Mylands friction polish the other day (grabbed the wrong bottle) instead of BLO, and it made some really nasty cloudy spots in the CA. I imagine that the sanding sealer would be the same, if it's shellac-based. That's my guess! :)

I use Mylands cellulose sanding on every wood pen I make.Sand to 400, put it on sparingly and wipe it dry immediately. Make sure you let it dry thoroughly, I usually wait a couple hours, and then micromesh to 12,000. Then you can apply CA or whatever else you want.

I was thinking that he meant use it in place of the BLO when doing CA/BLO. I use the sanding sealer prior to many finishes as well, works great! :)
