LOL. I suppose that's true.

I use a fair amount of BLO with CA to get a nice protective layer without the shine (it's just the quickest and easiest- I know there are other ways).

I guess that's what I was thinking. Obviously JUST using oil would make it oily. LOL

I usually put a little friction polish on and it shines it up nice. If it's porous at all I use some ca to fill in the holes.
