Black Schmidt 9000M's Skipping

I bought hundreds, possibly thousands of these, very often 12 to 24 at a time. I use them within 2 to 4 months (keep then capped and in their plastic bag). My last batch of 6 had several that skipped. They would right smoothly then, no ink, then ink again. They didn't leak, just skipped. I was wondering if anyone has had this experience lately.

The two that skipped were just opened and used for a few lines of writing to a few minutes of writing.

Tony, we had a few customers who had this problem (hundreds of refills). We isolated it to the time frame in which
we were experiencing 25 below zero weather. Schmidt has asked for samples, which we will send when we next order
from them. My best guess was that they froze.

Should find out more, but if they came from us, just tell us how many when you next order and we will replace them.
