I use a variety of stands to add both height and variety to my selling displays. To date I used 4x4 cutoffs sanded and painted black. Now, I make similarly sized objects with my 3D printer. The photo shows on example of the newly printed stands While the other photo shows our recent display using the wooden stands.
I have 3.5" cube, 3.5x3.5x 5" riser and a 3.5x3.5x7" model. They are much lighter, more interesting sheen and texture due to the 3D printed black filament. They are basically weightless compared to fir wood 4x4 pieces. Don't be fooled; they are tough and will never have to be repainted.
$10 - 3.5" x 3.5"x 3.5" tall
$12 - 3.5" x 3.5" x 5" tall or wide
$15 - 3.5" x 3.5" x 7" tall or wide
